I get brought in to either explain to clients the origin of where results came from, how the data science works, that "Machine Learning" isn't a new band I'm listening to and that no - chances are that the 150% year over year sales increase we're seeing isn't because your aunt retweeted us (Yes, these are true stories).

Anyway, I got tired of repeating "You can't write this" and decided one day as a gift for my kids I would- this way one day if they ever grow up and get asked "How the Ads Work" they'll have a list of answers ready for them to choose from.
